US President Joe Biden will speak at 1545GMT on Tuesday, the White House announced, on "actions to continue to hold Russia accountable for its unprovoked and unjustified war on Ukraine". Sources told Bloomberg recently that an announcement of a US ban on Russian oil, LNG and coal imports might be announced as soon as today. Thus, Biden is expected to unveil the Russian import ban in the upcoming speech.
