GBP/JPY hovering near 173.50

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The GBP/JPY is about to end Monday flat, hovering slightly below 173.50. During the European session the pair peaked at 173.98, the highest price since last Thursday, but then reversed and fell quickly to 173.32, the lowest price of the day.

On American hours the pair remained steady moving between 173.50 and 173.30, around the closing price of the last three trading days.

The Pound was the worst performer among European currencies, but the Yen weakened in the market as stocks rose, limiting the decline of the GBP/JPY.
