EUR/CHF is impressed by SNB
As Eurozone is sparing of economic reports this week, the market focused its attention on every event it had. No wonder the Swiss National Bank’s quarterly monetary policy announcement attracted some attention following the recent ECB unconventional measures. A small number of investors believed the Swiss National Bank could cut interest rates, and when it didn’t happen the pair moved lower reaching 2-month low at 1.2151. It rebounded to 1.2160 area, but the move back to nearest support at 1.2148 is not ruled out.
