Wall Street ends week higher and with new record

FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks finished with mix results on Friday. The Dow Jones rose 0.1% and finished at 16,717 while the S&P 500 gained 0.2% or 4 point to end at 1,924; both closed at record highs. The Nasdaq Composite lost 5 points or 0.12%.

Economic information from the US weight on stocks as reports on personal income and spending and consumer sentiment came below expectations.

Stock indexes had the best month since February and posted important weekly gains, rising more than 1% over the last five days.
