Huawei repatriates US workers from Its China base – FT

The Financial Times (FT) carries a report on Friday, citing that the Chinese technologies company, Huawei, “has ordered employees to cancel technical meetings with US contacts and repatriated Americans working at its Shenzhen headquarters.”

Dang Wenshuan, Huawei’s Chief Strategy Architect told FT: “American citizens working in research and development at Huawei’s headquarters were sent back to the US two weeks ago, after the Trump administration blacklisted the Chinese group and 68 affiliates.”

Last hour, China said that it is prepared with a plan to limit the rare earth exports to the US, should it be needed.
