Wall Street closes Friday with losses but positive on the week

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market gave up post employment report's gains amid Ukraine worries and major indexes closed the day on the negative field. However, Wall Street posted gains on the week.

The Dow Jones declined 45.98 pts or 0.28% to finish the day at 16,512.89. On the week, the DJIA posted 0.93% gains; however it remains 0.38% negative YTD.

The S&P 500 lost 2.54 pts or 0.13% to 1,881.14; +0.95% on the week and +1.77% YTD. The Nasdaq eased 3.55 pts or 0.09% in the day to close at 4,123.90; 1.19% weekly gains while 1.26% negative YTD.

NZD/USD rises further to 0.8670

The NZD/USD climbed to 0.8669, fresh 2-week high, during the American session and holds near 0.8670 consolidating importante weekly gains.
