AUD/JPY loses momentum, drops to 95.30
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/JPY had the worst day in four weeks on Monday, after losing almost 40 pips. Price finished around 95.55 after bottoming during the American session at 95.31, the lowest price since March 31.
AUD/JPY moving away from 10-month highs
The Yen remained strong across the board holding Friday’s momentum while the Aussie weakened and finished lower in the currency market pushing the AUD/JPY to the downside. Last Friday price peaked at 96.51, hitting the strongest level in 10 months but then made a strong reversal.
At the moment of writing, the AUD/JPY trades at 95.50/55, steady early in Asia ahead of the Bank of Japan’s decision on monetary policy.
