US Senator Paul invites Russian lawmakers to Washington - RIA

Russian news agency, RIA, reported on Monday that the US Republican Senator Rand Paul said that he has invited Russian senators to Washington for talks when he met Russian members of parliament in Moscow, as cited by Reuters.

Last week, Russia’s state news agency, Interfax, quoted a diplomatic source, as saying that the US Senator was expected to meet Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov during his visit.
