Reuters’ poll: Global investors raise overall equity holdings to 3-1/2 year high of 51.3%

According to Reuters’ latest survey, global investors have raised their overall equity exposure to 3-1/2 year highs. 

The poll showed overall equity exposure rising 3.2% to 51.3%, marking the highest since July 2014, and up 5.5% since the start of 2016.

Meanwhile, investors cut their bond holdings by 3.4% to 36.6% the lowest level since October 2015. 

The poll also revealed that British stocks remained out of favor, with Brexit uncertainties prompting funds to cut holdings by 2.5% in December to 8%, the lowest in at least five years.
