UK consumer spending registers longest losing streak in 4 years

As per credit card company Visa, the UK consumer spending fell 0.8% y/y in June; its third straight monthly decline and its longest losing streak since February 2013. 

Reuters report says, “it is a sign of that the impact of last year’s Brexit vote is rippling through to households”.
