Spanish borrowing costs fall at debt auction

FXStreet (Barcelona) - The Spanish Tesoro Público held a debt auction on Thursday during which it sold a total of 5590 million euros worth of 3- and 5- year bonds.

2304 million euros of bonds maturing in 2017 were auctioned at an average yield of 1.562%, compared with 1.595% seen at the previous auction. 3286 million euros in the 2019 bond were sold at an average yield of 2.254% versus the previous 2.382%.
