French Pres. Macron announced Edouard Phillipe as new PM

New French president Emmanuel Macron named Edouard Philippe, a centre-right mayor from the conservative Republicans party, his new prime minister.

Philippe has been acting as the Mayor of Le Havre in Normandy since 2010 and has been a member of the National Assembly representing the 7th constituency of Seine-Maritime since 2012.
