Final counts coming in, mkts fading "the Macron trade"

Macron was the clear winner today, and fireworks were on display in Paris.

However, the markets had not only expected the victory but had priced it also - hence, we are seeing what appears to be the start of an unwinding of the Macron trade in Asia today in true sell the fact style, albeit no fireworks on the result in the FXSpace really, as might have been expected in this outcome.

Meanwhile, the French Interior Ministry are announcing that almost all of the counts of votes are in placing Macron in the lead by slightly more at 66.06% vs previous estimates of 65%. 

European equity futures pop and drop after Macron win

EUR/USD was extending the downside from above the 1.1020 resistance area to 1.0956 the low. A recent bid has taken the major to 1.0972 the 5 min stick high at the time of writing.
