Thad Missile Defense System is up and running in South Korea – WSJ

As per the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report, a Thad Missile Defense system “operational and has the ability to intercept North Korean missiles”.

The defense system has been installed by the US military a week ahead of the South Korean election “that is expected to vote into office a presidential candidate who has called for an immediate halt to the missile battery deployment”.
