Analysts at Nomura offered their model1 for the USD/CNY fix for today.

Key Quotes:

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 243 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8907 from 6.8664) and 34 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8873. The basket implied change is 39 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8912 from 6.8873)."
