EMU: Current Account surplus widens against expectations in November

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Current Account surplus s.a. widened to €23.5 billion in November from €22.2 billion in October, according to data released today by the ECB. Analysts expected the surplus to narrow to €19.2 billion.

Current Account surplus n.s.a. widened to €27.4 billion in November, from €26.6 billion in October.

EMU: Manufacturing PMI expands further in January

Preliminary Eurozone PMI Manufacturing rose to 53.9 points in January, from 52.7 points in December, according to data released today by Markit. Analysts expected less increase to 53.0 points.
