EUR/JPY hits 1-week low below 141.00
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The EUR/JPY fell to a fresh 1-week low sub 141.00 during the American session as the yen strengthened across the board.
The EUR/JPY lost more than 150 pips throughout the day and bottomed out at a 1-week low of 140.51 before finding buyers and bouncing. At time of writing, the EUR/JPY is trading at the 141.10 area, still down 0.8% on the day and recording its second daily loss in a row.
EUR/JPY technical levels
In terms of technical levels, if the euro-yen breaks below 140.50, it could find next supports at 140.00 (psychological level) and 139.60 (Dec 4 high). On the other hand, resistances are seen at 141.50 (intraday level), 142.00 (psychological level) and 142.30 (100-hour SMA).
