China’s cabinet promotes Yin Yong as PBOC vice governor

On Tuesday, China’s Cabinet announced the promotion of Yin Yong, who has been an assistant governor at the central bank since August 2015, Reuters reports.

Yin, a Harvard-educated official, was named the vice governor of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), replacing Guo Qingping.
