UK Q3 GDP second estimate in-line with expectations

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) published the second estimate of the UK third quarter GDP on Friday, with figures coming in line with expectations.  

The first revision showed that the GDP figures came in at 0.5% q/q in the third quarter of 2016, down from 0.7% booked in the second quarter, while matched expectations of 0.5% growth.

While on an annualized basis, the growth rate also confirmed the preliminary reading of +2.3%, meeting +2.3% forecast.
