Wall Street declines on Friday but posts second week of gains
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - US stocks market closed little lower on Friday as investors took a pause in the recent day's rally. Market is digesting high borrowing cost in US as 10-year yields remains above 3% at highest since 2011.
The Dow Jones declined 1.47 points or 0.01% to finish at 16,478.41; the DJIA rallied 4.59% in the week. The S&P 500 eased 0.62 points or 0.03% to 1,841.40, ending the week with 3.72% gains. The Nasdaq lost 10.59 points or 0.25% to close at 4,156.59. The Composite posted 3.89% weekly gains. Majors average are on track for fourth straight month of gains.
