Japan's PM Abe: Japan stimulus to be more than 28t yen - Kyodo

After all the buzz in Asia, Japanese PM Abe finally confirmed that the country's economic stimulus package is set to be more than 28 trillion yen, adding that economic measures are to be compiled next week, Kyodo reports.

To summarze, the Yen initially weakened aggressively on news that the stimulus size was set to be JPY 27 trillion, according to FNN, including the issuance of 50-yr bonds. Japan’s Ministry of Finance (MOF) later denied such reports, stating that the nation is not considering issuing 50-year bonds, resulting on the Japanese Yen paring most of its losses once again. Lastly, Abe then made a public appearance to the press, confirming the early rumours.
