RBNZ to issue brief update on economic assessment on July 21

MNI reports that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) will issue a brief update on the economic assessment on next Thursday July 21st at 9.00am local time (2100GMT).

The bank noted that the economic update will now be published on monthly basis because of the "longer-than-usual gap between MPSs."

However, the bank will not include an OCR review decision in its July 21 assessment

The next OCR review takes place on 11 August MPS (Monetary policy Statement)
