S&P, Dow set sails for record highs
The upbeat sentiment in the risk-associated space is far from abated today, and is now pushing both the S&P500 and Dow industrials to fresh record highs above 2,150 pts and 18,350 pts, respectively, following the opening bell in the NA session.
Easing concerns over the UK’s political scenario after Theresa May was elected new prime minister, upbeat results from Alcoa for the second quarter and the recovery in crude oil prices are all supporting investors’ preference for riskier assets, pushing indices to new historic peaks.
