FTSE futures open 2% lower on post Brexit uncertainty

FTSE futures have opened at least 2% lower today as life after Brexit appears uncertain in Europe; especially on the political front.

At the time of writing, FTSE futures were down 2.10%. The futures were down 10% on Friday after polls confirmed Brexit. However, the index recovered major part of losses by day end closing.

The developments over the weekend only suggest the political uncertainty is here to stay for a long time. Shocked EU asked Britain to leave fast, while Scotland expressed desire to stay inside EU, triggering speculation of another Scottish referendum.
