German flash inflation estimate for March beats estimates

German flash March inflation data comes in above initial expectations across the board but is not surprising since the regional inflation gauges released earlier today had beat estimates.

Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HIC) printed 0.1% y/y and 0.8% m/m, both bettering estimate of -0.1% and 0.6%.

CPI also bettered estimates by printing at 0.8% m/m and 0.3% y/y.
