Canada: Retail Sales grow 0.2% in August

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Statistics Canada informed on Tuesday that Canada's Retail Sales rose 0.2% in August, down from the 0.5% increase in July and slightly below forecasts of +0.3%.

Retail Sales excluding Autos climbed 0.4% in August, after growing 0.8% in July and above expectations of rising 0.2%.

USD/CHF prints 20-month low after NFP

The USD/CHF plummeted below 0.9000 and fell to its lowest since February 2012 after data showed US created fewer jobs than expected in September, undermining prospects the Fed could begin tapering stimulus this year.
