US October NY Empire State Manufacturing Index falls to 1.52 vs 6.29 (September)

USD/JPY has slipped back in its range after being capped at the important resistance level of 98.70. Bids are seen on dips to 98.35 support but a clean break of that level should see a further pullback toward the 98.00 level.
