EMU: Consumer Confidence at -14.9 in September

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence remained at -14.9 in September, the European Commission reported on Friday. Market consensus pointed to an increase to -14.5.

Eurozone Business Climate was unchanged at -0.2 in September, slightly below expectations of an increase to -0.1.

The Economic Sentiment Indicator rose to 96.9 from 95.2 and above forecasts of reaching 96.

Industrial Confidence improved to -6.7 from -7.8, above expectations of a rise to -7. Services Sentiment increased to -3.3 from -5.2 and above market consensus of rising to -4.8.
