Switzerland: Trade surplus narrows less than expected in August

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Swiss Trade surplus narrowed to CHF1,853.0M in August from CHF2,490.6M in July, according to data released today by the Federal Customs Administration. Analysts expected the surplus to narrow to CHF1,475.0M.

Exports decreased to CHF12,799.0M in August, from CHF18,268.4M in July. Imports declined to CHF14,652.0M from CHF15,777.8M.
