NZD/USD pierces big level to downside

NZD/USD posted an intraday 52-week low but failed to close lower.

There is a new NZD/USD 52-week low in place, but not on a daily close basis. Today's price movement punched a 52-week low but came back, closing the day above.

AUD/USD: risks remains with the downside - FXStreet

Valeria Bednarik, chief analyst at FXStreet explained that the Australian dollar enjoyed some demand against its American rival earlier in the day, setting a daily high of 0.7249 before erasing most of its intraday gains, ending the day a few pips above its daily opening, on renewed dollar's demand.
