German manufacturing PMI rose to 51.9 in June
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The seasonally adjusted final Markit/BME Germany Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 51.9 in June as expected from 51.1 in May.
The new orders rose increased at a stronger rate in June. However, the rate of growth was modest and below the long-run series average. With the rise in new orders and export orders, employment increased for the ninth month running.
Input costs increased for the third month and some companies passed the higher costs on to their customers.
