USD/CHF testing the figure 0.9200

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - USD/CHF is testing the 0.9200 handle to the downside on a quiet day ahead of FOMC tomorrow.

USD/CHF has dropped over 170 pips since Thursday and has drifted to new lower territory. The pair eyes US FOMC minutes this week. The latest FOMC minutes from the US will be released on Wednesday evening and could shed some light on September tapering.

USD/CHF broken support

USD/CHF has broken support and now eyes the 2013 support line at 0.9184 while the pair is testing the 0.9200 psychological figure, while failures there will open up at 0.9120 back to the fore. The 20 dma is 0.9280, the 50 dma is 0.9359 and the 200 dma is 0.9350. RSI (9) reads 41.88. Supports are ascending from 0.9120, 0.9175, 0.9191. Spot is currently 0.9207. Resistances are 0.9234, 0.9288, 0.9301 and 0.9314.
