EMU: Consumer Confidence grows to -17.4 in July, as expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -17.4 in July, from -18.8 in June, the European Commission reported on Tuesday. This result is in line with market consensus.

Eurozone Business Climate rose to -0.53 in July, from -0.67 in June, above expectations of a increase to -0.55.

The Economic Sentiment Indicator grew to 92.5 from 91.3 and slightly below forecasts of climbing to 92.6.

Industrial Confidence decline slowed down from -11.2 to -10.6, below expectations of -10.3. Services Sentiment rose to -7.8 from -9.5 and above market consensus of falling to -9.
