NZD/USD deflates from 0.7540

FXStreet (Mumbai) - NZD/USD remained in red in the mid-Asian session, extending its losing streak from the last North American session after the US dollar regained lost ground versus its major peers and erased most NFP induced losses.

NZD/USD back on 0.75 handle

Currently, the NZD/USD pair trades at 0.7531, down -0.15%, retreating from 0.7539 highs. NZD/USD keeps losses this session as the Kiwi continues its bearish tone from the previous session after the greenback expanded gains as traders adjusted their positions after a relatively subdued trading session.

However, losses in the NZD/USD pair were cushioned by gains in its Oz counterpart ahead of RBA’s rate decision. Meanwhile, in absence of NZ data for the day, the pair may take fresh cues from RBA decision for further momentum on the pair.

NZD/USD Levels to consider

To the upside, the next resistance is located at 0.7622 (Today’s High) levels and above which it could extend gains to 0.7665 levels. To the downside immediate support might be located at 0.7577 levels below that at 0.7550 levels.
