Germany: Annual CPI at 1.8% in June
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Destatis, German annual inflation rose 1.8% in June, following 1.5% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis German CPI increased 0.1% in June, after climbing 0.4% in May, as expected.
Year-over-year German HICP rose 1.9% in June, up from 1.6% in May. On a monthly basis HICP grew 0.1% in June, following a 0.3% increase in May. Both results are in line with consensus.
