Forex Top Movers: USD to the offensive; The CHF at lows since SNB day
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US dollar is trading higher on Thursday as the DXY is rising 0.21% so far today to 94.83. Against the Sterling and Yen the dollar is posting gains while the EUR/USD remains unable to take direction.
On the other hand, the Swiss Franc is trading at lows since the SNB decision to eliminate the EUR/CHF peg. The USD/CHF is the top gainer of the day with an increase of 1.98% on the day to the current 0.9235. The EUR/CHF is testing the 1.0450 area.
After the USD/CHF, the USD/RUB advances 1.66% and the GBP/CHF rises 1.37% so far today. Top losers of the day are AUD/USD with 1.60% decline to 0.7761; CHF/JPY is 1.36% down to 128.03; and the AUD/JPY with 1.03% losses to 91.74.
