NZD/USD falls below 0.7800
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The kiwi dropped further against the US dollar during the European session and reached the lowest price since November 11.
NZD/USD keeps falling
During the Asian session NZD/USDstarted to slide after the release of the inflation expectations report from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) that showed a decline in the expected annual rate from 2.2% 2.1%.
The pair was trading above 0.7900 and recently bottomed at 0.7781, hitting a fresh weekly low. Ahead of the release of a new estimate for the third quarter in the US, the pair remains near daily lows, still under pressure. During the last hours attempted to recover but failed to hold above 0.7800, after finding resistance at 0.7805.
