EUR/JPY hits 6-year high
FXStreet (Córdoba) - EUR/JPY reached fresh multi-year highs during the European session, underpinned by much-stronger-than-expected ZEW surveys.
EUR/JPY rose nearly half a cent in matter of minutes and printed its highest level since Oct 2008 at 146.68 before staging a quick and sharp pullback that was contained by 145.75. At time of writing, EUR/JPY is trading at 146.05, 0.59% above its opening price.
EUR/JPY levels to watch
In terms of technical levels, immediate resistances are seen at 146.68 (2014 high Nov 18), 146.83 (Oct 3 2008 high) and 147.00 (psychological level). On the flip side, supports could be found at 145.75 (hourly low), 145.13 (Nov 18 low) and 145.00 (psychological level).
