US stocks finished close to session lows
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street fell to session lows before closing the day with losses after opening session with big gains. Investors were concerned about the fatal shooting in Canada's parliament and oil's collapse.
The Dow Jones lost 153.49 points or 0.92% to close the day at 16,461.32; the S&P 500 declined 14.17 points or 0.73% to 1,927.11; while the Nasdaq Composite eased 36.63 pts or 0.83% to 4,382.85.
On commodities, oil fell $2.30 o finish at $80.33. Gold declined after two days of gains as the yellow metal extended 1,255.80 rejection to test the 1,240.00 area.
