UK: Claimant Count Change down 37.2K in August

FXStreet (Łódź) - The number of unemployment people in the UK fell by 37.2K in August, following a 37.4K drop registered in July, National Statistics reported on Wednesday. This result is more positive than the expected 30K decrease. The Claimant Count Rate was at 2.9%, following a 3% reading.

The ILO Unemployment Rate slid to 6.2% in July, from 6.4% in June, beating expectations of a decrease to 6.3%.
