USD/CAD extends slide
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The Loonie started to rise against the US dollar during the European session and continue to climb on American hours. Recently USD/CAD bottomed at 1.0966, reaching the lowest price since last Thursday.
The pair is retreating after hitting on Monday at 1.1097, a 5-month high; since then it has fallen 130 pips.
USD/CAD worst day since August 27
The pair is falling almost a hundred pips, having the worst daily performance since the beginning of the month as it holds near the lows. The loonie was among the best performers of the day among majors.
